Each month the crafters at The Perfect Touch choose a special cause and donate 10% of all sales to that cause.  In addition, several crafters combine their resources to create a parasol representing that cause.  The full purchase price of the parasol is also donated to the cause of choice.  This parasol is dedicated to The Make-A-Wish Foundation.

 

The outside of the parasol has 32 rows of alternating widths of black pleated organza edged with black lace.  The 4 center rows are pulled into a full ruffled circle and finished with an organza bow.  The lining of the parasol is a layer of black satin overlaid with a gold organza with a myriad of different stars.  The center is finished with a full ruffled circle of the same lace-edged organza used on the outside of the parasol.  A beautiful gold sequin shooting star further adorns the parasol lining.  The wooden handle is embellished with 5 rows of black glass beads.  An unattached black satin ribbon closes the parasol.
