Victorian hat included with the 1875 Black and Ivory Bustle Gown listed in The Perfect Touch Shoppe.  True to the era this hat has been crafted by Lady Jeanette from a custom designed pattern and created with buckram and millinery wire.  The black taffeta covering the crown and brim is the same fabric used in the 1875 Black and Ivory Bustle Gown.  The ivory Shantung used in the same gown are also used here for the double bias crown edging and the softly gathered brim band ending in twin tails falling down the back.  The tails are accented with a black tulle bow and tails.  Small silver grey and rose-colored roses tumble inside the turned-up brim which is adorned on the outside with a black rose with a small rose-colored rose center and outlined with dark green leaves.  Silver grey and black vintage feathers and a pearl bead spray top the brim from one side, while a set of matched bird wings and ivory velvet and beaded flowers adorn the opposite side.  All embellishments are hand sewn.  The crown is lined with black kona cotton fabric.  Sent in a beautiful damask hat box.
