Eye-catching and compliment-catching Victorian bustle gown inspired by a fashion plate dated July 31, 1875. Black taffeta skirt and soft ivory Shantung overskirt in an easy-to-wear single piece. Rows of ruffled and ruched trim on the skirt with black and silver embroidery on the overskirt sashes. Bodice of the same fabrics with sleeves trimmed with lace, beading, and pleated ruffles with black satin ribbon and bows. Matching lace-trimmed neck edge. Recreated by Lady Leigh of House of PoLeigh Naise with her signature attention to beautiful details and expert construction. The bodice is lined and interlined and lightly boned.
